Today I started a new challenge, well a rekindled challenge in preparing for the Great South Run 2017 in an effort to beat my one and only time.
Today was the first run, jog, walk that I have done in over 2 years and to be honest I’m really pleased with my performance. I found that my breathing recovery was much better than I imagined and I still kept a good rythem it took me to achieve when I first started running.
I started the training using the C25k app that so many have used with success in the past, when I got completed the first day of training I found that I still had more in the tank so pushed on doing 1 Min runs with 1 Min walks until the end.
